Taichi is an established hair stylist based in Tokyo, recently relocated after nearly two decades of making his mark in New York.
He moved to NY in 2009, where he honed his craft at the highest level,
serving as the first assistant to legendary hair stylists Shay Ashual, Duffy, and Diego Da Silva.
After launching his independent career, his exceptional talent and unique vision led him
to join the prestigious creative agency The Art Department NY in 2020.
Known for his signature style that seamlessly blends an edgy aesthetic with delicate, clean touches,
Taichi consistently captivates clients across fashion, beauty, and commercial advertising campaigns.
In 2026, he returned to Tokyo, bringing his world-class expertise and global perspective back to the Japanese creative scene.
