弱冠16歳という類稀な若さにて、フリーランス・ファッション・イラストレーターとしてサンパウロのファッション業界に飛び入り、キャリアをスタートさせたHenrique Gendre。ティーンの頃に芽生えたファッションへの憧れを胸に、母国のFAAP Fine Arts Collegeへ入学。卒業後ロンドンへと移り、フォトグラファーとしての活動を開始。それ以降、若かりし頃の情念は冷める事なく、現在はニューヨークをベースに、サンパウロは勿論、東京等、世界中を飛び回り、数多くのファッション誌のカバー、広告等を手掛ける。

Henrique Gendre initiated his launch into the industry freelancing as a fashion illustrator at the age of 16.
He graduated from FAAP Fine Arts College in São Paulo and then moved to London where he started working as a photographer.
His fashion work has been featured in Vogue Brazil, Vogue Korea,
Vogue Japan, Vogue China, S Moda (El Pais, Spain), Grazia (France), L'Officiel (France), i-D Magazine, The Sunday Times (UK),
Vogue Homem (Brazil), and The Guardian (UK).
He has shot advertising campaigns for Adidas, Sotheby's, Young Versace, Levi's, Nike, S Max Mara, Sam Edelman, Ann Taylor LOFT, Nextel, Animale, Ports 1961, Alexandre Herchcovitch, Amsterdam Sauer, Coca-Cola, A/O.
Henrique currently lives and works in New York City.
